Ski Touring in Tromsø & Lyngen – 8-Day Arctic Ski & Sail Adventure
Experience the thrill of ski touring in the Arctic Circle, where snowy peaks rise directly from the sea. This 8-day adventure takes you from Tromsø to the heart of the Lyngen Alps, with the unique option of staying on a sailboat or motor yacht—skiing straight from the shore.
- Day 1 – Arrival in Tromsø
- Arrival at Tromsø airport
- Transfer to harbor or local lodge
- Meet your guide, trip briefing, gear check
- Free dinner or welcome meal onboard
- Day 2 – First Tour in Tromsø / Kvaløya
- Ski tour on scenic local peaks (e.g., Lille Blåmannen, Hollendaren)
- Elevation gain: 800–1100 m
- Evening boarding and sail to Lyngen (if boat option selected)
- Days 3–6 – Ski & Sail in the Lyngen Alps
- Daily ski tours on different peaks (e.g., Kavringtinden, Storgalten, Tafeltinden)
- Elevation gain: 1000–1400 m
- Access via sea, shore landings by zodiac
- Full board and overnight on boat
- Possibility to see Northern Lights at night
- Day 7 – Final Tour + Return to Tromsø
- Morning ski tour
- Return sail or drive back to Tromsø
- Farewell dinner in town
- Day 8 – Departure
- Transfer to airport
- End of services
The fee includes:
- IFMGA-certified mountain guide
- 6 nights on boat or lodge + 1 night in Tromsø
- Full board (on boat) or half board (on land)
- Local transfers (van, boat, zodiac)
