Nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, Cortina d’Ampezzo offers some of the most iconic alpine climbing scenery in Europe. This area is perfect for climbers looking for classic multi-pitch routes, dramatic limestone towers, and unforgettable mountain landscapes.
5 TORRI
The legendary Cinque Torri are among the best destinations in the Dolomites for traditional and sportive alpine climbing. Their compact rock, short approaches, and historic atmosphere make them ideal for both intermediate and experienced climbers.
Famous routes include:
- Via Lusy Pompanin – Torre Grande
- Via Miriam – Torre Grande
- Via Dimai – Torre Grande
- Via delle Guide – Torre Quarta Bassa
The area is also famous for its World War I history and panoramic views over the Tofane and Nuvolau groups.
Falzarego Towers
Near the famous Passo Falzarego rise several elegant limestone formations offering classic Dolomite climbing in a spectacular setting.
