Via Normale from the eastern slope

The Civetta is one of the highest peaks in the Dolomites. On the north-west side, it is characterised by an imposing vertical wall more than 1,000 metres high; on the east side, on the other hand, it has steep slopes and scree, and the normal route climbs along this side. The climb is on rocky terrain that is not difficult and equipped, except for the steep final part. Possibility of overnight stay at the Torrani refuge
Equipment: Harness, helmet, 30-litre rucksack. Tested hiking boots, light windbreaker jacket, sun hat, sun cream and sunglasses, cap, gloves. The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide and technical equipment such as harness. The fee does not include: individual transfers, any optional insurance (ask for information), lunches, expenses of a personal nature, lift tickets, in any case anything not mentioned in “The fees include”.
