Corso Freeride Ski Dolomiti

Freeride Mountainfree courses are held in the Dolomites, are camps indicated for those who know how to ski off-piste or for those who want to approach this activity for the first time and are designed to give notions of snowpack conditions and avalanche safety techniques. In our camps we try to combine safety and fun on the best snow in the Dolomites. The many routes allow us to ski from December to April, ranging from winter powder to spring snow. With the use of sealskins, on skis or splitboards, overcoming short uphill gradients, you will discover and descend numerous valleys and couloirs, starting from the wide slopes of the Marmolada to the famous couloirs of the Sella group. This course designed for skiers who want to break away from the world of the slope and get out into pristine environments is structured into lessons to improve downhill technique and drills done in the terrain to gain practice and safety in avalanche risk assessment. We will provide you with useful notions to safely manage your trips by analyzing the criticality of slopes and better plan your descents. Basic Course: for those who have never practiced and want to try their hand at off-piste; starting on the open slopes of the Marmolada we will gradually make you learn freeride techniques with the right amount of fun. Advanced Course: for those who have experience and want to improve their downhill technique, including on steep ski routes, gaining practice in rope maneuvers and the use of ice axe and crampons. Fee includes: - Mountain guide for the duration of the program - Accommodation in a shared room - Half board - Safety equipment (Equipment: ARVA, shovel and probe) - Ski pass
