Normal route to Mount Pelmo
Mount Pelmo is one of the most imposing and isolated Dolomite peaks, dominating Val di Zoldo. the normal route takes place on the south-eastern slope, in the first section along the famous ‘ball ledge’, which has some very exposed sections, although protected by some fixed ropes; in the second section, however, the ascent is strenuous but without any technical difficulties except for a short delicate passage along the terminal ridge.
Equipment: Harness, helmet, 30-litre rucksack. Tested hiking boots, light windbreaker jacket, sun hat, sun cream and sunglasses, cap, gloves.
The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide and technical equipment such as harness.
The fee does not include: individual transfers, optional insurance (ask for information), lunches, personal expenses, lift tickets, in any case everything not mentioned in “The fees include”.
